When you open up the organizer, you'll now see a Delete button in the upper left hand corner. Click as many items as you want all at once, then simply hit the Delete button, and Poof! They're gone!
Many of you have requested this feature in the past, so we hope you enjoy using it. It's time to get rid of the old, bring in the new, and let us know what you think :-)

If I were to delete items from my inventory, would they be deleted from the sets they were in?
I like this, but I also wish I could sort through my items by color or type (shoes, pants, ect.)

Emily, the items won't be deleted from your sets, dont worry. Btw, Thank you guys at Polyvore soo much!! This is really helpful, because if I'm looking for a specific item, its bad trying to look through hundreds of my items pages!! <3
This is nice. But, I've noticed more changes than just this. Formerly, when creating a set, you could multi-select items by holding the Ctrl key (just like in many Windows apps). This functionality is gone. Also, we no longer get notified when one of our "found" items is used. This kind of saddens me because it was a nice way to keep in touch with the other members and see how they used similar items. Plus you always felt like you were in the "center" of the activity and so much was going on. Now, my "latest activity" section is a barren wasteland LOL --just feedback - take as you will. Thanks for such a fun tool!
I don't like either that the usages don't show up anymore. Please bring it back!
Multi-select is gone for now, but don't worry! It will be back soon, better than ever. I know, it sucks at the moment for those of you who got used to this feature - but please bear with us!
As for the item usages, we've limited those to showing just usages for items you've clipped within the past seven days. We did this in response to feedback that the usages overwhelmed the activity stream - but we know some of you did like seeing them. Ideally, you should be able to customize your stream so that you can see what interests you most, and hide the rest - so we're working on that as well.

Have you deleted some of our items, because i cannot find a whole bunch of items that i previously tabed!!??!!
Well I HATE it because ....I unwittingly deleted a bunch of my items that I was trying to organize....did not notice the delete button meant those items would be deleted for good!!!!!!! I thought they had been saved under my heading and that this was going to unselect them so I could do a different category...now some of my favourites are gone for good!
How do I get them back?
I want my items back!!!!!!!!!!!!
