Update 3:45PM: It appears Amazon is making progress on restoring their service. We will be back online as soon as S3 is fully restored. (we are looking at having a backup in place so that this does not happen in the future).
Update 5:16PM: We are back... we will follow up with another blog post explaining why we had the outage.

I miss making sets and talking to all the wonderful member that i have been gretfriends with.Its seems like polyvore is always down and never running the past weeks or so,It makes me very sad.Im suprised that you dont have any comments on this blog not that many people go to the blog.You should create a game page with fun fashion games to play when polyvore is down.Not that many people look at the blog when polyvore is down,the go and find other websites.The blog is very broing and not exciting when you are bored out of your mind and want to play polyvore and all you get is the boring blog until polyvore is up and running.You should make it so we can atleast talk and chat with the other members even when polyvore is down.I hope that some of the polyvore workers read this and take consideratoin and think about some of the things a wrote to make polyvore a better website.

It would be very nice if someone of the polyvore staff could give the user's more information as to a idea of how much longer it could take amazon to fix everything. They just keep saying one thing after another and nothing really seems to be fixed and it has been over six hours now and since i've been a member here this is the longest you've guys have been down. These would include .getting more than 50 items to a set.And also another suggestion is having fun games to entertain the user of polyvore while it remains an outage .The last suggetion that i would agree needed improvement was the idea of when we use the guide to the items aand it says busy in between each number you click on .athough i would agree it is completly your choice as to the fact that we are not paying fees. as well users still would appreiate these things being fixed. thank you - a concerned user

I'm patient and understand that things don't immediately work. But when you go to Polyvore's Homepage it says that Polyvore will be back online shortly. It's been hours since it is down that's not shortly by any means. Perhaps you might reconsider your terminology. "We are experiencing technical difficulties at Polyvore and hope to back up and running soon." I dunno it was just a thought.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! When will polyvore be back? Can you make it so we can at least write to people.I am really bored and have been checking if polyvore is running every 10mins! I read everyblog a dozen times! You should get some better blogs and choose people from polyvore to make a blog spot or something!Will clipper be fixed when polyvore is running?Man i am really annoyed that polyvore hasnt been working.I was talking to my friends last night and had to get off and need to catch up! I am so so so so so so so so so bored! Please let us atleast talk to poeple!

OMG! Y'all better get back running fast..Im getting Polyvore Withdrwal Syndrome....It's been my drug all vacation. Quick...Im spazzing out!
polyvore says it will be back shortly and its been down for 6 hours! amazon is pissing me off....
And everyone, come on, put yourself on their shoes for a bit. I imagine they have no way of knowing when it will be back, as the technical issue was not even theirs to begin with. I am sure they would much rather have the site working smoothly and be able to do their own things with their family and friends on this Sunday, instead of being stuck trying to fix this. Let's try to put ourselves in their shoes for a bit and give them a little break and space so they can work on trying to get it back up and running as soon as possible. It must require a lot of very hard work to keep a structure this big(and that we all enjoy so much as a free service) up and running. I understand all of us are frustrated but I am sure none of us is more frustrated than they are in this moment.

Does anyone know how to delete messages? I keep getting confused by them and why even if you read them when you dont reply do they say they have not been read. grrr. Maybe they should fix this problem while they are at it
