How to Wear a White Button-Down Shirt

A classic white button-down shirt is one of the most versatile pieces of clothing you could own. They're simple, chic, and can easily be dressed up or down, making them an essential item in any wardrobe.

Blake Lively wears hers with a wide belt over jeans and heels, which looks elegant but not too dressy.

For a dressier look, try pairing your button-down with a skirt and heels, like Victoria Beckham does here.

Kate Moss wears hers with this season's hottest trend, the waistcoat...

Rachel Bilson adds a summer scarf and has her collars & cuff peeking out from under a sweater.

I love Kate Moss look, I normally wear my white shirt with a black or brown belt over my waist depending on what colour my skirt or trousers are. I may have to get a waistcoat at some point too as I love the look it gives.
