You little punk! by StyleBubble

Tell us about yourself.

My name's Yenny and I'm 16. I'm in year 10 now. My parents are Korean and we came to Australia when I was little. A couple of years back if anyone asked me what I wanted to do it would have been fashion designer but now I want to do something in the field of science or medicine because I find it quite interesting. At the moment I work casually at a craft store near my house.

Describe your sense of style/fashion.

Although some of the outfits in my sets are vibrant and elegant, I'm really laid back when it comes to fashion. I can't live without basic pieces like a good pair of jeans, a white t-shirt (it goes with anything) and Converse sneakers. I would say my style is simple and classic but I love to add on to my outfits with accessories, especially hats and tights (in different colours and textures). Plus, I'm a sucker for little vintage pieces!

I'm also into making things myself so I make my own jewelry. Right now I'm learning how to making skirts from my friend which is really fun.

How did you discover Polyvore?

A couple of months ago I discovered Polyvore through a magazine called Girlfriend! They had a list of sites to go to and I got curious and tried Polyvore. After that I just fell in love with it!

Tell us a little about what you use Polyvore for and why.

I use Polyvore to just clear my head from studies and stress. I like to create outfits that reflect me in different ways. I like Polyvore because you have no limits. It's like you've got a blank sheet of paper and you can fill it with just about anything you want. I also love the aspect that you can share your creations with people all across the world.

How much time do you spend on Polyvore per week?

It's actually really simple. When I find an item that I like, I just build an outfit around that item. At times, it takes more than a day and at other times it only takes a few minutes.

What are your 3 favorite sets of the ones you've made?

That's a tough one...

I love this set because it's so summery, cute and fun! This was one of the sets that I finished in less than an hour. I just saw the skirt and I wanted to make an outfit that went along with it. I liked that way the yellow bag went with the red accessories.

I saw the dress and I thought it was so gorgeous! I knew I had to make an outfit out of it. Then I saw the tux jacket and thought they were perfect for each other...

I started this outfit with the skirt. I really wanted to make an high-waisted outfit that's kind of casual. I really liked the end result of this one.

Got any feature requests for the Polyvore team?

Hmm.. Let's see.. I really want a feature in the 'Organize my items' where I can actually click the item and enlarge it because the items in it are so small it's hard to see. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with Polyvore. Lastly I just want to mention all the lovely girls that I met on Polyvore because they are so lovely. Also, thank you for interviewing me because I'm really honored to be a part of this interview!

I really love to see other Aussies on here. I found out from the magazine Girlfriend about 7months ago.

Yenny should not copy other people's names such as the original Style Bubble from the UK. Copying is lame.
