The Little Black Dress

Ahh, yes. The little black dress.

There's no question about it, every woman should own one. It's an essential, timeless piece for any wardrobe and chosen wisely, should last you for years. Perfect for any occasion, the little black dress can be dressed up or down. Wear it with a cardigan and pumps for work, a hot pair of open toe heels and jewelry at night, or sandals and scarf on the weekends. It's also perfect for fall and winter with a pair of boots.  There are so many ways to accessorize it, no one will ever suspect it's the same dress!

Here's a look at modern-day renditions of the little black dress:

Basic

Embellished

Classic

Structured

Casual

Ethnically Inspired

Every one should own a little back dress? Sounds more like a marketing ploy for a dress manufacturer. Ok, so everyone should own one, but not everyone can wear one. Next time you're at a cocktail party or special event, look around and see whom shouldn't be wearing what they are wearing.

A girl must always have the perfect LBD in her wardrobe. You can choose your perfect LBD to suit your size and shape. You dont have to be a skinny stick to wear one. More voluptuous girls can wear them too. The LBD is perfect for that slimming affect. Accessorise accessorise accessorise. The accessories you have used are perfect and give so many different ideas. The outfits are simply stunning too. I feel a little spending spree come on now I have some fab ideas. Many thanks

Hi, I like the way you styled the LBD. For me, on a non creative day, I just go with the LBD.. I also recently wrote a post on it:
