Apple Shape Figure

The outfit above is an excellent example of a business casual outfit for an apple shape figure. The skirt is not too tight, and is short enough to show off your legs without being an inappropriate length for the office. The neckline on both the blouse and the coat are perfect. This is a great spring look, but if you add some tights to this ensemble and you can pull this off for the winter, as well.If you are top-heavy, you're considered to have an apple shape, so you'll want to accentuate your great legs! Avoid tight bottoms like pencil skirts and skintight jeans. Also, stay away from full and puffy sleeves as these all emphasize top-heaviness.
You can create more of an hourglass look with an a-line skirt for work. Shorter skirts are also more suitable for apple shape figures. Choose tops and sweaters with v-necks, boatnecks and shirt collars. Pants with pockets are most flattering, so don't be afraid of five pockets!
