How To Wear a Plaid Boyfriend Shirt

Ah, the boyfriend fit shirt. This plaid design is perfectly comfy, yet still stylish in its own right. As you can tell from the outfits below, Polyvorians like to style this shirt with shorts. And why not? You can go casual with some sandals or pump up the volume with some to-die-for heels. You can't call this piece frumpy, proof that your boyfriend's clothes can sometimes make you look fabulous!

I love Nothing Special.
It is eclectic and nice looking without being too off the wall.
Plaid shirts are the best thing.
Especially if they are flannel

Super cute looks! I used to rock the plaid shirts circa 2003. I might have to bust them out again!

I love the shirt, it's really. But Polyvore, I was wondering why you NEVER feature mosaic sets on the blog, and why they don't win contests ever. I make quite a few mosaics, and I can't remember a mosaic ever winning a Polyvore official contest ever. And the only time time I've seen them on the blog is when you made a post about several set layouts. Mosaics take time, and lots of it. Usually twice the time it would for a regular set, and very, very much effort. It's not fair that we work so hard, but our efforts are wasted. So please Polyvore, when judging contests and finding sets for the blog, please consider all set types including the mosaic layout.

I’m really trying to wear this trend. I love plaid skirts and bags, but I’m having trouble wearing plaid as a top. I just feel very lumberjacky and masculine. It looks cute on a lot of girls but I’m not sure I’m one of them. I bought a blue and black plaid top that I’m trying to wear but I’m just not feeling the trend. Maybe it’s because I grew up in the country-I feel almost as if wearing plaid makes me into a bad stereotype. However, I love the outfits in this post. All are very cute but I just don’t think they are for me.
