Tell us about yourself.
Hello, my name is Hadar Dahan and I live in Israel. I'm a student with an interest in being a fashion designer as I love being involved with anything related to fashion. It may be too early to say this, but I really feel like fashion is my life. I've also been a professional dancer since I was very young.
Describe your sense of style/fashion.
I like to wear investment pieces and fashionable clothes at all times. I wear clothes that compliment me, like tall-cuts, chic tunics, etc.
Are there any particular fashion trends that you've been seeing people wear in Israel right now?
Yes of course. Right now in Israel, people wear colorful and lightweight clothes. But the main trends are gladiator shoes and cross body bags with long straps and small pouches. I'm very happy that there is more fashion awareness here due to TV programs like Project Runway.
How did you discover Polyvore?
I discovered Polyvore a year ago. My friend's sister asked me if I was interested in fashion. When I told her that I was, she sent me a link to Polyvore.com and I've been addicted since.
Tell us a little about what you use Polyvore for and why. What do you like about Polyvore?
I like Polyvore because it allows me to be daring and empowers me to design all kinds of different styles and outfits. I don't have to be shy on Polyvore.
Describe your set creation process. Where do you get inspiration
for your sets? How do you pick a theme? How do you find your items?
I begin designing my sets with my favorite items and then I try to combine other items by color, fabric and similar pairings. I try to put real-life, useful items in my sets and I'm constantly inspired by my own thoughts and imagination. I'm always looking for new items to use, so if I see something I like that someone else has clipped, I'll often use them.
What are your favorite designers and brands you like to clip products from?
I love high-fashion designers like Chanel, Prada, Marc Jacobs, and Armani.
What are your 3 favorite sets of the ones you've made?
Got any feature requests for the Polyvore team?
I think everything's great on Polyvore as it is! :)
