Art Peace Sustainability

We just came across a really cool global interactive event around art therapy called "Art Peace Sustainability." Art therapy uses art media and the creative process to help in foster self-expression, create coping skills, manage stress, and strengthen sense of self. The event is sponsored by the International Art Therapy Organization and the Art Therapy Alliance and there's a group here on Polyvore where you can get involved!

Join Art Peace Sustainability: An Interactive International Art Therapy Event group and submit postcard-sized format works reflecting art, peace, and sustainability. You also can make “response art” inspired by the following questions:

Does art therapy impact peace and sustainability on the planet?
How do art, peace, and sustainability intersect?
Does the creative process of art making resolve conflicts?
Does art therapy build and sustain community?
Is art therapy a "green" practice?

Check out some of the artwork that has been submitted so far:

Thank you so much for the mention and support of our Art Peace Sustainability Event, as well as the PR for art therapy... Art Therapy Alliance and International Art Therapy Organization members love Polyvore!

I look forward to seeing new sets that come in responding to our theme.... Thanks again!
