Trend Spotter: Paper-Bag Waists

Engreida spotted a Paper-Bag Waist trend on Polyvore. Engredia points out, "The paper-bag waist is designer Althea Harper's signature style, representing street chic and redefining suit attire also!" The paper-bag cut is typically worn high at the waist and has extra fabric at the waist. The look is loose and chic and looks amazing paired with a fitted top. This is the perfect look if you want to achieve a beautiful silhouette. Take a look at Althea Harper's paper-bag waist design from Project Runway, Season 6:

I am definitely not a paper bag waist kind of girl

Slim, clean lines and silhouettes are my thing, unless they're ruffly around my neck ;)

Style on a String ..because style has nothing to do with money.
