Interview with Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ_кιмι-ѕυє

Today's interview is with Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ_кιмι-ѕυє. You'll often find her sets entered into groups contests, and she's recently placed in our ALDO and Katharine McPhee sponsored contests! She has a spunky style and loves accessorizing her sets with great jewelry and fun shoes!

Here are some of her sets:

Tell us about yourself.

I am a sixteen year old girl living in England (but half Swedish) that is crazy about art and fashion. I love art and creating things like clothes and paintings. I am in love with fashion and try to go to fashion shows every year to see what designers have in store for us for the upcoming seasons. At the moment I am at school doing my GCSE's in English, math, science, religious education, art, textiles and food tech. After finishing school I want to study art and textiles, related to fashion. Then hopefully go into an acting career along with fashion design.

Describe your sense of style/fashion.

My sense of style, I would say, is quite chic and clean cut. I love couture fashion and pastel colorings. Even when it's not in fashion, I still love it. I am also in love with military styling, especially the jackets! They're so stunning, especially if you pair them with some red heels!

Are there any particular fashion trends that you've been seeing people wear in England lately?

The one fashion trend I have seen is the gladiator sandals and UGG boots. They seem to be everywhere you look! But unfortunately they are often worn with sportswear which I think is a waste of beautiful shoes, to be frank.

How did you discover Polyvore?

I discovered Polyvore last year when I was looking up a dress in Google and I found a set that someone had made which I thought was stunning, so I went onto the website and I instantly fell in love with it. Finally I had found a site that offered everything I love mashed into one.

Tell us a little about what you use Polyvore for and why. What do you like about Polyvore?

I use Polyvore to make fashion sets that can give me inspiration on what I would love to wear or what to wear. It has given me so much encouragement to do fashion for the future, and I am glad I found it! I love how Polyvore combines art and fashion into one, which is up my alley for sure! I have even painted some of the sets I have done on canvas!

Describe your set creation process. Where do you get inspiration for your sets? How do you pick a theme? How do you find your items?

My set creation process is basically to find a top or dress and then take everything from there, matching and clipping things together to make one great outfit! As I have been on here for a year now, I have made progress with designing and creating sets. With item searching, I usually find some great items in magazines like Vogue, ELLE or Glamour which gives me great ideas!

What online stores and designers do you like to clip products from?

I have to say that H&M, Net-A-Porter, TopShop, Humor, My-Wardrobe and Eruca are my favorite stores to clip products from. They all have the styles I love, it's just a shame not all of them ship to England, otherwise I'll be buying like a mad woman!! Haha.

What are your 3 favorite sets of the ones you've made?

Got any feature requests for the Polyvore team?

The one thing I would love to have is to upload images from the computer as it is sometimes difficult to find online sites that have the one thing you have that you want to clip to Polyvore.
