NewbarK on Polyvore

Are your feet in a need of a little TLC? We can sympathize. The toll a pair of heels can take on your feet can be massive, especially when you're running around from place to place. That's why we're in love with these leather slippers from NewbarK! Maryam and Marjan Malakpour are the two sisters behind this LA-based shoe label and they've designed the line with fashion and functionality in mind. Choose from metallics, colorblock and even perforated leather...and these chic shoes come in a really handy bag that you can even use as a clutch!

We were excited to find that many of you already share our love for NewbarK, too!

Like what you see? You can own a pair of NewbarK shoes for $350. Go on, show your feet some love!

We call those "alpargatas" here in argentina!!!! They are very common, cheap kind od shoes, usually worn by "gauchos" (a sort of cowboy from the pampas). Of course, this are much more stilysh, but it's intesting to find out that something so common here can be turned into something fashionable somewhere else.

I dont like them at all :S
They dont really look really comfort... specialy to me who have slouch feet! They look like you feel like walking barefoot, like you can feel every tiny rock on the street. Plus i dont like the design.

Those are very similar to Toms... except Toms are a lot cheaper, and for every pair you buy, they give a pair to a child in need! They're great shoes and super comfy, they also offer vegan styles. :]
