Tell us about yourself.
I’m a 20-year old guy and I live in Santiago, Chile. I study design and my dream is to work in a fashion magazine as a stylist. I love everything about design, fashion, art and architecture. I die over shoes and jackets. I would love to travel around the world and learn about different cultures and people.
How would you describe your sense of style/fashion?
My sense of fashion is very eclectic. I try to mix different styles to create chic and trendy looks. I like to combine elegant jackets with denim shorts and fierce shoes, with a funny piece of jewelry. I love the rocker style too, the little details in the clothes, power colors like the head-to-toe black look, too.
What's hot in your 'hood right now?
I have to say that Chile is not very trendy. But right now I see lots of leather jackets, tall platform shoes, skinny jeans, blazers and high-waisted skirts being worn on the street.
What's one thing you wish people would wear more of?
I would love to see more women in dresses and heels, and men in beautiful jackets with the right trousers. I wish the entire world could wear Balmain, Balenciaga and Dior, Louboutin and Zanotti shoes, with beautiful Mulberry and Givenchy bags.
How did you discover Polyvore?
The first time I learned about Polyvore was on Style.com a few years ago and I've been a Polyvore addict since.
Tell us a little about what you use Polyvore for and why. What do you like about Polyvore?
I love Polyvore because it is the best tool I have to create outfits like in the magazines. I can always find the newest items from my favorites designers and share my sense of fashion with the world here.
If you could share one tip or trick with a new Polyvore member, what would it be?
I just think that the new members have to try different ways to make sets, and not copy the same sets that they see. They should be conscientious of the layout they use, but also have fun!
Do you have a favorite fashion designer or style icon who has influenced you?
I have a lot! I really love John Galliano hes a genius. I admire to Christophe Decarnin, Alexander Wang, Alber Elbaz, Ricardo Tisci, the guys of Proenza Schouler, Nicolas Ghesquière, Marc Jacobs, and the late Alexander McQueen.
I really love to Emmanuelle Alt. Others that inspire me are Anna Dello Russo, Alexa Chung, Giovanna Battaglia, the gorgeous Kate Moss, Carine Roitfeld, the Olsen twins, Coco Chanel and Edie Sedgwick. Models I love are Daria Werbowy, Natasha Poly, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Lily Donaldson, Magdalena Frackowiak and Anna Selezneva.
What online stores do you like to clip from?
I love Colette, Browns, Luisa Via Roma, Net-a-Porter and La Garçonne.
What are your 3 favorite sets of the ones you've made?
What's your favorite set created by another Polyvore member?
I don't have a favorite, but at this moment I really like the work of roxanaaaaaaaaaa. She makes really cool sets, with chic style!
Got any feature requests for the Polyvore team?
Make me famous! Haha, kisses for u!
