New Set Embed Features

We love our bloggers and know that no two blogs are the same. So, last month we asked bloggers for feedback on our set embedding capabilities. We gathered your suggestions for improving layouts and item lists, and are excited to introduce several new features to set embeds! Here's a summary of the new additions:

Layout
We've added the option to embed a grid of items without text. Below is an example of what this layout looks like once embedded on a blog:

Item List
You can now choose which items you want to have appear in your list via checkboxes. For example, if you only want shoppable items listed, you can click the 'products' link as a shortcut.

We hope you find these new features helpful. As always, we really value your feedback and suggestions. So please keep them coming!

Love,
The Polyvore Team

Great! I've always avoided putting the list of items because with the background it was too long, now that won't be a problem anymore! Thanks =)

LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE it, when i use sets in my blog i usually don't have items because it would be to much, looked messy and now i could see me using this feature..oxoxoxoxooxoxoxo

This is awesome. I have been waiting for this! I also would like to see Polyvore create a way to organize items more effectively. I always have to scroll through 200 pages to find things. Maybe they can be arranged like "All Items" are. You could click on dresses and see all your saved dresses, etc. Hope that's clear!

But awesome new embed features : )

I think it's nice that you add new tweaks to the site, BUT I think you need to use some of this time to see what sets are being published! There are many nude sets with sexual acts being portrayed. There are sets with vulgar language with the "F" word all over the place! There are self-mutilating sets, glorifying drug use and such. PLEASE Polyvore, CLEAN this place up! Oh and it would help if you would look at the sets people flag, those are usually the kind of sets I mentioned!

How do we disable "see similar"?

This feature isn't working correctly. I have to have the list of items on my blog posts and now they aren't showing up at all. I use this to promote my business and now that the list feature isn't publishing, I can't post to my blog. Very frustrating.

I like the new features. AND I would love it if the background of an embedded set could be transparent instead of white. My blog pages are not white and I hate seeing white "underwear" sticking out around the edges of my embedded sets. Would it be possible to make the background transparent so our sets would blend more seamlessly into our blog pages?

Yup. Not working.

It's a WONDERFUL new scheme. I just can't make it work! I'm completely at a loss without my collages. PLEASE get the blogger uplink fixed quickly, or at least get the html back! (It's working sporadically for me--I was able to upload one collage fine, but not another 2. So frustrated.)
