Polyvore Beta Mobile Site Is Here!

For all you Polyvore-lovers on-the-go, we're excited to unveil the beta version of our mobile site! This has been one of your top requests for a while so we're thrilled to give you the first look.

Check out the mobile site by going to polyvore.com on your iPhone, iPod Touch, Android phone, and newer BlackBerry phones.

The mobile site is optimized for browsing sets and checking your activity. You can easily like your favorite sets and items and follow your contacts. Because the size of your phone screen is small and limited, set creation is not supported right now. At any time, you can click on "switch to full site" to get to the original web Polyvore.

This is the beta version of our mobile site, so we'll be making lots of improvements and adding more functionality over the coming weeks. Be sure to let us know your top feature requests! Enjoy!

Love,
The Polyvore Team

I would love to have commenting and messages on my iPod(; thanks so much! Maybe eventually make an app?

Aquatinkerbell said...

IT WOULD BE NICE IF SETS CAN BE CREATED ON IPHONE AND IPAD

leah said...

i actually really like this! for once, comments are much, much, much easier to make, because when you added the tagging feature, typing on an itouch or phone became a hassle because it would lag and the keyboard would often quit on you, but this is fantastic

I was never one who requested this and I am not a big fan of it. I have more problems with the mobile site then I do with the full site on my phone. I love that you still gave us the option for full site!
I usually deal with your changes and handle them well but I am not a fan of this even through it truly is optional.
{Please please please get for Blackberry I love using my sister's phone but still can't for polyvore please try soon}

Anonymous said...

how long until the blackberry phones are supported? i have a blackberry! :/

Anonymous said...

jdlkfjds oh my gosh! This is perfect, especially since I'm getting an iphone for my birthday soon! Thank you so much Polyvore! :D <3

This is awesome news! Thank you!!

It would be nice if we could eventually get an app for polyvore. One that allows you to make sets on the go.

Aveira said...

Awesome, can't wait to try it out!

Anonymous said...

It is cool, but it would be nice to be able to check your messages on the screen since there is no message button unless you go to the full version

Anonymous said...

it would be awesome if you could make it so that we can all receive and send private messages!

My opinion, after reading other comments, is VERY unpopular, so I probably won't be heard. Even so, I'd like to put in my ten cents. I hate the mobile site. I hate the mobile site so much. Not only is it incredibly bulky looking on my phone, but it's much harder to access everything now. I liked before, when I was able to instantly see my set and the comments on it like the normal website if I was on my laptop. It was simple and incredibly useful. Sure, we couldn't make sets, but we still can't so that point is invalid. Before we could also check our messages. Also, if I go online on my phone, it's because I want to do things like comment back to followers and people I'm following as efficiently and quickly as possible, and with the clicking the button that opens up a new bit for even something as simple as viewing a few recent comments is ridiculous.
The fact it was html in the url warned me that it had changed, and I was prepared with open arms, but it's extremely hard to navigate and preform simple tasks as liking a set or posting a comment. The sets wouldn't even load for me with the change, when before the set image was instantly there and other pages even now run perfectly except for Polyvore. Heck, for me, because of how much information is trying to be condensed and how it is layed out, Polyvore is not loading on my phone, period; and I've checked, it's not issues with wifi availability or 3g/4g network availability. By my phone is how I can normally check polyvore now, in times when I'm on the go; such as on a bus, in a car, some free time while on a walk. I depend on that to be active as I don't get on my laptop too much anymore. If this change stays, I will probably be on rarely at best, and with the people I've met through it and the creativity this lets out of people and inspiring other people, I'd hate that. I dealt with and liked the permanent names. I dealt with and deal with the new online layout. But this? I can't deal with it if it won't even load and looks horrible to the extent that I can't do the simplest tasks I depended on doing via mobile interactions. I've used this saying before, and it's the perfect time to use it again.
Don't fix it if it's not broken.
Yes, a separate apple/droid app would be amazing, and I'd download it (if it was hopefully free), but an entirely un-needed html mobile setup? No thank you. While it still doesn't change set making in most cases, when it takes away our access to messages and makes everything harder, I hope it's Beta and I hope even more that it goes away. For good. Or at least have a setting where we can pick which (between the old layout and the html) we would like to use.

I think this is great! I just can't read my messages! Is this a glitch or is it just unavailable? Thanks. xxx :)

Hope I can enter in my Nokia and hope i a future we can make sets from the phone! It would be great, because when we have inspiration it's like gjafbjlahf hahahaha. Love Polyvore! (Not the new site but there's no problem). Peace.

What about Blackberry? I want Polyvore for my mobile too! It's not fair :(

Anonymous said...

LOVE IT!!!! Now, if only you could work on the set creation part . . . phone screens are small, but iPad screens are not . . .

You guys ROCK!

If you could get Blackberry in with this, that'd be AMAZING :)

simply-scarlett said...

You said it wasn't one blackberry, I;'ve got it on mine. But its confusing and takes ages to perform even a simple tasm such as a comment. And no messages..

Anonymous said...

PLEASE, have it also work on windows phone!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

OMG!! i used to go on polyvore on my iPad all the time! but now! it sux! i hate it. i used to be able to make text sets, but now i cant at all! try making an app where you can make sets! it would be MUCH better!

PANIC! I opened Polyvore on my phone this morning and it's all changed again... Panic over, just realised it's only changed on the phone and is much quicker to see what's going on :-) Would like a tab to see new messages though and at least there is the option to go to full site if we need to.

It'd Be Great If You Could Send PM'S(:
And An App, Too(: But This Is Amazing! :D
Hope We Can Make Sets Soon(:

es genial! esperaba esto!

It's horrible and bold, i hate it. It looks terrible on the computer as well, and you cant even send PMS. So what the hell is this? Please change it back, not one person you have asked to test it likes it on the computer so. Do you want more people to quit? I understand you are trying to make the site better, but it would be better if you did it for everyone needs rather then the high class fashion people.
Thanks.

This is great and everything, but what about those of us who want to use our iPads? My laptop is super old so it goes very slowly and I end up using my iPad most of the time. I'd love to be able to create sets using my iPad, rather than just browsing and stuff. Looking forward to updates on that front!

This is FANTASTIC!! Thanks Polyvore Team!

im so happy there's an app for polyvore now, I was looking for it a couple of days ago.

Finally! So cool xo

Anonymous said...

I have always been able to comments and everythigl though this makes it much easier, so thank you, but my real concern or hope is to be able to make sets on it. Maybe it would be easier on an application that people could purchase for 99 cents?Thank you so much for all of your hard work!

Anonymous said...

Thanks! this is great because I don't always want to create a set, just check up so thanks!

Anonymous said...

I think the mobile site is ok but could Polyvore go ahead and work with someone on getting an app for the Iphone or Ipod? I think we are entering into that generation now that the app would be a tremendous help.

Anonymous said...

Finally, a change from polyvore i actually like..

Mandy Q said...

Thumbs up, Polyvore team!

Love!

Anonymous said...

Love the new mobile layout, but it'd be even more awesome if you guys would make an app for it!

Anonymous said...

To the people who are complaining: You don't have to use the mobile version.
There's a link on the bottom that says 'Go to full site' or something along those lines. Just click it and move on.

Anonymous said...

does it work for Htc phones too

Anonymous said...

finally! I'm so glad pv finally has mobile!!

Danika said...

The mobile site is okay, but I cannot enter contests (with sets I've already created) and this is very fustrating.

I'd love it if you could only add sets to collections from the mobile site. That feature's not there it seems, and it means I just stay on the non-mobile site (which isn't nearly as easy to navigate on my iPhone).

I see 2 year old complaints about creating sets on phones and tablets! Why is it taking so long??? I signed up a few months ago and haven't made a set yet.I too only have a phone and a tablet. Get it together Polyvore!

Anonymous said...

The mobile site works on kindle fire also, but I tried switching back to the full site to try to see if I could make a set, bit it didn't work. Now I can't go back to mobile! Help!

Anonymous said...

When will this be finished considering you said it two years ago? It would be lovely to make stuff on my iPhone already!

Anonymous said...

This is a good app or whatever BUT IT WON'T LET YOU MAKE SETS ANYWAYS SO MIGHT AS WELL HAVE POLYVORE JUST FOR COMPUTERS -__-
