New Editor features!

Dear Polyvore Community,

We wanted to share a couple new features recently added to the Editor.

Templates: Move items between placeholders!
Now you can rearrange your items easily by dragging them from one placeholder to another. (Hint: You need to drag the item all the way "out" of the placeholder first, then drag it back over another spot to see it highlighted.) Plus, when you move an item into another occupied spot, it will swap the items so they're both still in the set. That way, you can play around with the layout and pick the best arrangement for the items you've chosen.

iPhone: Add text when creating sets on the iPhone!
We've made several updates to our iPhone app over the last few weeks, but in case you missed it, now you can add text in your choice of color and font when building sets in the Polyvore iPhone app! If you don't have the app yet, be sure to download it from the App Store.

We hope these changes will make your sets even better!

Love,
The Polyvore Team

Very nice. Especially the template one. Now will you please fix the glitch of not being able to directly access one's activity page if one scrolls down? The bar with "like - add to blog - fb - etc" covers it when you scroll back up.

Nice! I haven't done a template set in a while. Maybe I'll try it out this evening. Waiting on an Android App so I can make sets on my tablet on the go (^_^)

I really think this will help a lot!

Waiting on the Android App too. I don't get why you had a contest to give out Android phones when you won't even release the app?

That's cool :) I think they should make it where while you're making a set, there should be a thing where you type in a description of the set, just simple words to describe it.Like color, style, etc. and it'll give you ideas for the set.

Thanks, Polyvore! This is fantastic.

It would be great if we could save and publish multiple drafts of one set, or even drag and drop groups of items from one draft to another, sort of like dragging items between placeholders in a template. Sometimes I have so many ideas for one set that I end wanting to split it into two, but then I have find all of the items and re-do half of it from scratch in a new draft.

Thank you guys for everything. Keep up the awesome work!

Or at least publish some guidelines if there's a work-around for how to do this.

Thanks for all intention/effort to keep making better features!

I've tried the new Editor and found it hard to use as I couldn't add text for some reason and I couldn't exchange the template for a blank canvas.
Is there a way to change my Editor back to how it was?

i noticed the features... very nice :) now i'm just waiting on the android app since i'm too poor to own an iphone, lol. i also agree with the person who mentioned dragging and dropping groups of items into one draft to the next. i think that'd be right helpful. thanks for all your updates!

Help! When I go to the editor, my items don't show up, and when i try to search for items in the 'all items' tab, it doesn't let me click on the categories! Also, for some reason I can't like items or sets. My mouse is working fine, though! It just doesn't let me click the heart button.
