New iPad and iPhone Updates: Collections, Shop on iPad and More

Dear Polyvore Community,

We released our iPad app a month ago, and you gave it over 1,000 5-star reviews. Thank you so much!

Today, we are excited to announce more updates to both the iPhone and iPad apps.

  • VIEW COLLECTIONS: You can now view collections created by your friends or view all the top sets and products in one place. Just tap on a collection to see its products and sets.

  • SHOP THE LATEST TRENDS ON THE IPAD: Now you can go to a single tab to see what’s hot on Polyvore. You can browse through current products in fashion, beauty and home.  Trends are updated multiple times a day, so check back often to see what’s new!

  • SAVE ITEMS FROM THE EDITOR ON IPAD: We heard you loud and clear about not being able to save an item while creating a set. Now, if you tap on an item, you can see a larger view and save it directly. If you don’t want to save it, you can still drag and drop the item directly into the canvas as you could earlier.

Try the latest update from http://www.polyvore.com/iOS and keep the feedback coming! We pay attention to your requests and are working hard on exciting new changes in the upcoming months.

Love,
The Polyvore Team

I think it's awesome that you are continuing to improve the apps for iPad and iPhone. It would be lovely if your development team would create a Polyvore app for Android and Windows.

It'd be nice if you could get templates to work for the app too, and also groups.

Does anyone know if Polyvore will work on the new Kindle Fire HD or HDX? I'm planning on purchasing one in the next 2 months (can't afford an iPad) and I'm just curious. Thanks.

Yay! Finally I'll be able to like objects while I create! So psyched!

Please add a way to add contests to the iPad app, I always love to enter but cannot do so on my iPad!

Good job, I was longing for this upgrade, but you should put back the "symbols, numbers etc." section in the quick search.
And please, START TO DEVELOP IT FOR ANDROID TOO!!!! I can't bring the stupid iPad everywhere!

Would be good if the resize and rotate functions were stylus friendly..would give more precision and it's kind of a pain having to put stylus down to use fingers to apply these functions.

My Polyvore iPad app will not show the tabs next to Everything for Fashion, Beauty, and Home. Is anyone else having this problem?
