We loved all the sets our community members created and, trust us, judging the contest was no easy task. Seeing bellamarie's design process first hand is going to be a blast. Let's get to know more about her.
Give us a quick introduction of yourself:
My name is bellamarie (real name Angela). I'm a Graphic Communications student. My hobbies are Polyvore, drawing, dancing, languages (currently learning my sixth), reading, watching Arrested Development and silly cat videos.
Do you have a background in interior design?
No background in interior design, unless watching HGTV counts.
How did you start creating home decor sets?
I simply wanted to try something new, and haven't been able to stop ever since.
Do you have a favorite interior designer?
I don't know many but I'd have to go with Karin Meyn. Her taste and design aesthetic is impeccable.

Where do you get your interior design inspiration?
Usually I get inspired by a piece of furniture or decor item that catches my eye and I work around that. Pinterest and Instagram are also good sources for inspiration.
What was the inspiration behind your contest entries?
In this contest, I wanted to create a young, modern area that still ties in with the rest of the office, color and style wise. I tend to use muted colors a lot and it was fun experimenting with more bright, contrasting ones.
Which design trends will you bring to the Polyvore office?
The chalkboard wall and furniture with geometric shapes are some of the design trends that I will be bringing.
What're you most excited for now that you've won?
What I'm most excited about is meeting the Polyvore team, seeing California for the first time, and hopefully creating a little area the staff and future guests can enjoy.
