They make a lovely visual assemblege in a photo but most people wearing them most places would get the wrong kind of looks. A butterfly clip for over 40? Really, and carry a teapot with it? I hate these make over shows that chop a woman's hair short and stuff her into granny outfits just because she is over 30. I believe you should dress any way you want as long as you're not dressing as someone who could be arrested for indecent exposure. WTF? If we don't know how to dress by now, God help us, is all I have to say. Usually, this advice is all about "cover up the old lady bits," but the only problem with that is saggy, flabby, and even wrinkly often doesn't discriminate by age. There are 20 and 30 somethings with flappy awful things that should be covered as well. Yet, they are given the green light to experiment. <BR/><BR/>If we're to dole out fashion advice, can we please NOT do it by age. I don't think it's necessary. Here's mine for everyone: Wear what suits your body type and shape, cover up what needs covering up, experiment within these parameters, don't dress like a tramp, and don't try to copy what teens are wearing unless you are a teen.
